Trong hai ngày 17 - 18/9, tại trụ sở Liên hợp quốc (LHQ) ở New York đã diễn ra Phiên họp khẩn cấp đặc biệt của Đại hội đồng LHQ về “các hành động bất hợp pháp của Israel tại Đông Jerusalem và phần còn lại của lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng”, trên cơ sở ý kiến tư vấn của Tòa án Công lý Quốc tế (ICJ) ngày 19/7.
Ngày 18/9, Đại hội đồng Liên hợp quốc (LHQ) Khóa 79 đã thông qua một nghị quyết yêu cầu Israel chấm dứt sự hiện diện bất hợp pháp tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng trong vòng 12 tháng.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Trung Đông, Tổ chức Lao động quốc tế (ILO) ngày 18/3 công bố báo cáo cho thấy xung đột giữa Israel và Phong trào Hồi giáo Hamas đã "thổi bay" hơn 500.000 việc làm trong giai đoạn từ tháng 10/2023 đến cuối tháng 1/2024 trên khắp các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, trong khi các hoạt động kinh tế tại Dải Gaza bị đình đốn hoàn toàn.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Brussels, Đại diện cấp cao của Liên minh châu Âu (EU) phụ trách chính sách an ninh và đối ngoại Josep Borrell ngày 5/7 đã bày tỏ lo ngại sâu sắc về tình trạng leo thang bạo lực nghiêm trọng ở Israel và các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Trung Đông, ngày 19/4, Tổng thống Palestine Mahmoud Abbas đã hội đàm với Thái tử Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman tại Jeddah, thảo luận về tình hình gần đây tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Tel Aviv, Điều phối viên về nhân quyền của Liên hợp quốc (LHQ) phụ trách các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, bà Lynn Hastings, ngày 6/8 cho biết bà hết sức quan ngại về sự leo thang bạo lực nghiêm trọng xung quanh dải Gaza khiến ít nhất 15 người Palestine thiệt mạng và 125 người khác bị thương.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Geneva, Hội đồng nhân quyền Liên hợp quốc (UNHRC) ngày 17/5 đã tiến hành phiên họp đặc biệt bằng hình thức trực tuyến về tình hình nhân quyền nghiêm trọng tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, trong đó có Đông Jerusalem.
Với 83 phiếu ủng hộ, 14 phiếu chống và 39 phiếu trắng, ngày 26/5, Hội đồng Y tế thế giới (WHA) đã thông qua một dự thảo nghị quyết về tình hình y tế ở vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, bao gồm Đông Jerusalem, và ở Cao nguyên Golan do Syria chiếm đóng.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Trung Đông, Thủ tướng Palestine Mohammad Shtayyeh ngày 28/12 đã thúc giục cộng đồng quốc tế ngăn chặn hoạt động mở rộng các khu định cư trái phép tại lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, trong bối cảnh Israel chuẩn bị tổ chức cuộc bầu cử lần thứ tư trong vòng chưa đầy 2 năm qua.
Ngày 29/6, Cao ủy Liên hợp quốc về Nhân quyền Michelle Bachelet tuyên bố kế hoạch của Israel sáp nhập một phần lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng ở Bờ Tây là "trái phép", đồng thời cảnh báo động thái này có thể gây ra hậu quả "thảm khốc".
Ngày 27/5, Ngoại trưởng Jordan Ayman Safadi cảnh báo rằng việc Israel tiến hành sáp nhập các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng là vi phạm luật pháp quốc tế và cản trở tiến trình hòa bình khu vực.
Ngày 6/1, Peace Now - tổ chức chuyên giám sát việc mở rộng các khu định cư của Israel - cho biết nhà chức trách Israel đã phê duyệt cho xây dựng 1.936 nhà định cư mới tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng.
Ngày 18/12, Điều phối viên Đặc biệt của Liên hợp quốc (LHQ) về tiến trình hòa bình Trung Đông Nicolay Mlandenov nhấn mạnh các khu định cư Do Thái tại vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng là "không có giá trị pháp lý" và là một trở ngại lớn đối với tiến trình hướng tới giải pháp hai nhà nước.
Ngày 27/11, Tổng thư ký Liên hợp quốc (LHQ) Antonio Guterres khẳng định các hoạt động định cư của Israel tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng là "không có giá trị pháp lý" và vi phạm nghiêm trọng luật pháp quốc tế.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại Trung Đông, ngày 27/11, Tổng thống Palestine Mahmoud Abbas đã bác bỏ một tuyên bố gần đây của Mỹ về công nhận các khu định cư của Israel tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng.
Ngày 18/11, Liên minh châu Âu (EU) khẳng định lập trường của khối này đối với hoạt động định cư của Israel tại vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, cho rằng hoạt động này là bất hợp pháp chiểu theo luật quốc tế.
Phóng viên TTXVN tại Geneva đưa tin, ngày 18/5, theo yêu cầu của 25 nước thành viên và 37 nước quan sát viên, Hội đồng Nhân quyền Liên hợp quốc (HĐNQ LHQ) đã tiến hành Phiên họp Đặc biệt về tình hình nhân quyền tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, trong đó có Đông Jerusalem.
Ngày 1/5, người phát ngôn Nhà Trắng Sean Spicer cho biết chính quyền Mỹ sẽ tiếp tục thảo luận với Israel về hoạt động định cư tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng.
Tại Phiên họp Đặc biệt của Hội đồng Nhân quyền LHQ về tình hình nhân quyền tại các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine bị chiếm đóng, Việt Nam đã kêu gọi các bên liên quan tôn trọng luật pháp quốc tế về nhân đạo và nhân quyền, chấm dứt bạo lực chống lại thường dân...
