Ngày 26/9, Liên minh châu Âu (EU) kêu gọi phong trào Hezbollah và lực lượng Israel chấm dứt mọi hành động đe dọa qua biên giới và thực hiện lệnh ngừng bắn trên Đường Xanh, phân chia ranh giới giữa Liban với Israel.

Ngày 25/9, người phát ngôn Bộ Quốc phòng Mỹ, bà Sabrina Singh cho biết nước này không cho rằng khả năng Israel tấn công trên bộ vào Liban là điều "sắp xảy ra", đồng thời cho biết thêm Mỹ đang nỗ lực tìm kiếm giải pháp ngoại giao để giảm căng thẳng trong khu vực.
Ngày 25/9, Pháp và Mỹ đã đề xuất lệnh ngừng bắn kéo dài 21 ngày tại Liban, sau nhiều ngày Israel tấn công lực lượng Hezbollah.
Ngày 25/9, Tổng thống Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides cho hay Mỹ và Pháp đang cố gắng đạt được một thỏa thuận tạm thời để chấm dứt tình trạng thù địch giữa Israel và lực lượng Hezbollah ở Liban với mục đích mở ra các cuộc đàm phán ngoại giao quy mô rộng hơn.
Ngày 24/9, các bộ trưởng Liban đã công bố các biện pháp để bảo vệ 27.000 người phải di dời khỏi miền Nam nước này và tạm dừng các hoạt động giáo dục cho đến cuối tuần do các cuộc không kích mà Israel đang tiến hành.

Ngày 23/9, Pháp đã yêu cầu Hội đồng bảo an Liên hợp quốc (HĐBA LHQ) họp khẩn cấp sau vụ Israel tiến hành một cuộc tấn công xuyên biên giới quy mô lớn nhằm vào lực lượng Hezbollah tại Liban.
Ngày 30/7, Bộ trưởng Quốc phòng Mỹ Lloyd Austin đã bày tỏ quan ngại về nguy cơ leo thang sau vụ tấn công nhằm vào Cao nguyên Golan do Israel kiểm soát, song cho rằng cuộc chiến giữa Israel và lực lượng Hezbollah ở Liban vẫn có thể tránh được.
